Band nailed "Don't Stop Believin'" as the final song in our series "The Tour"
Felt good about the message. I always love talking vision and mission of Meadow.
Attendance was solid - especially for Labor Day weekend.
So looking forward to next week's "All-Worship" Sunday. I need it.
I'm whipped! This series really took its toll on me physically and I really didn't realize it until today when we wrapped it up.
Still amazed at how God used 5 classic rock songs to communicate His life-changing and life-giving truth.
I'm organizing a "Pastor's Prayer Team" of people who I can count on to pray for me specifically as I lead and teach. If you are interested in being on this team, let me know.
Don't forget we're going to two services next Sunday - 9:00 & 10:30 AM.
AND...the brunch between services - always a great time of hanging out with other Meadowites!
Starting to brainstorm and work on my 2018 teaching series ideas and agenda.
It's still a few months out, but Christmas Eve is on Sunday this year. We're trying to decide if we have morning and evening services, or just morning, or just evening services. Any thoughts?
Sandy's on a cleaning and organizing frenzy. I'd help her but I need to study for a blood test.
Went to the fair on Friday. Happened to be the day that broke the attendance record. It was wall to wall people! Sheesh!
Faith and Family Night starts in a week and a half. I'm leading an in-depth adult study through the Gospel of John.
Working on a different system to help assimilate new people and families. Seems like we have room to improve in that area.
Can't believe its September already. Wow! Time flies when you are loving life!
I created a Facebook event for the new series staring on the 17th called "Can't Lose". Here's the link to RSVP and use it to invite friends. ... Can't Lose
Remember that when you RSVP to an event on Facebook, it will be posted on your news feed and others will see it.
"Can't Lose" will have a football theme. So for the 17th, plan on wearing your team's favorite colors - sweatshirt, jersey, tshirt, etc.
I'll be teaching on self-identity, spiritual gifts, strength when down, and other issues that will boost your faith!
Did I mention I'm starting a Pastor's Prayer Team? As I lead and teach, prayer is huge so I can stay focused, have clarity, and keep the main thing the main thing. If interested, let me know. I plan on regular communication with the team so they know how to be praying.
