Yes, I really did have my mic on during the last song in the first service! Good thing the only ones who could hear it were the band in their ear monitors! Sheesh!
Food was DUH-licious at the brunch!
Sense of optimism and vision was through the roof today!
Met some new friends. That's always cool!
There is just something happening at Meadow that is moving us forward. I can't put my finger on it specifically except to say God is so active right now at Meadow!
A BUNCH of people expressed interest in the Vision '17 ministry teams! We are going to so rock our church, our community, and our world!
Can't believe Easter is only two weeks away. Who are you bringing with you?
I've seen the plan for Good Friday and this is going to be an experience you will never forget involving dramatic readings, music, and a total focus on the cross.
And don't forget next Sunday - Palm Sunday. We are planning a unique experience highlighting Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Don't be late because we are kicking off the service a bit different than the norm.
Here's hoping Gonzaga takes the NCAA championship tomorrow night.
Every Sunday I am more amazed at our MeadowKIDS volunteers. Wow! They have a level of patience, energy, and dedication second to none! They totally love Jesus and love kids!
Pray for John Pennucci, Dan Dyb, and Jody Hessen. They stayed up all night at the youth group all-nighter and from experience, I know it takes an entire year to recover from a youth lock-in!
You want to hear the results of today's commitments? Sorry - you'll have to wait until next Sunday!
Got a letter from Panera giving the number of items they donated and the dollar amount it was all worth. Let's have some fun...you try and guess how many items they donated and the dollar amount it was all worth. The person closest to the actual number of items donated will win a pizza with toppings of their choice AND the person closest to the actual dollar amount will win the same! Post your guess in the comments section on Facebook. Ready...go.
This week I start writing and working on my next teaching series which starts after Easter called "Love Like Jesus" where we will look at three instances of Jesus' radical love and how we can do the same. Gonna be awesome!
Did I mention we are doing not one, not two, but three Easter services at 9:00, 10:00, & 11:00? Each will be 45 minutes and we are going to celebrate big the greatest event in our faith!
