I felt my message went a little smoother the first service.
Looking forward to the Q & A Sunday on October 2 @ 9:00 AM.
We're doing some honest evaluation of our entire Sunday morning operation. You might notice a few minor changes in the near future.
One issue is our parking lot. It was full today and as we grow it will be fuller each week. We might need to incorporate over-flow parking across from the church on Walnut Street. Watch for signs.
We are also getting more serious about Phase 2 of our Building the Dream. Things we are looking at encompassing Phase 2 would be a remodeled lobby, new flooring in the main hallway, and getting a jump start on our new auditorium.
Sounds like Bradford is starting tonight. Looking forward to seeing how he does.
If I gave out "super volunteer" awards today - it would go to Mike Bemis. This morning he managed the coffee, assisted with children check-in, greeted at the front door, and this all on top of being a dad and husband! Thanks Mike! Meadow wouldn't be Meadow without you!
I would also give an award out to the tech team today with Jeremy Tindall, Gustavo Segura, and Pat Laeger. They had some technical demons that seemed to haunt the system today but they pulled it off! Thank you!
And Jeremy and Chrissy Pickus knocked it out of the park with sharing their story! Wow! And it fit perfectly with my message!
Had a fantastic first week of small groups. We have almost 50 people involved so look out! There's gonna be some serious spiritual growth taking place at Meadow!
Thinking of getting me a new pair of church shoes. (You needed to know that didn't you?)
I've got a possible volunteer ministry opportunity with Carver County. I'd appreciate your prayers for wisdom.
We're looking for some new ideas for posters that we have outside and in the main hallway. If you think of something, let me know!
Don't forget on October 2 we are having only one service at 9:00 AM.
