I am so PUMPED for this Sunday at Meadow! I know I know. I say that all the time, but it’s true. I love Meadow and I love Sundays at Meadow – especially this coming Sunday. The words of Paul in Philippians 1:3-7 are so true and so real to me as I think about Meadow and the people who come.

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart.
— Philippians 4:3-7

What makes this Sunday so special is I am taking a break from our series on family values to share some things that are on my heart about what God is doing at Meadow and what we are hoping and praying He will do. It definitely will be a Sunday morning of joy, excitement, and looking to the future with faith.

Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see.
— Hebrews 1:1

In addition to me sharing what’s on my heart, what God has been doing, and the challenges we must face with faith – is the opening song the band will be performing. It is a pumped up song about how life changes when you get serious about prayer. You don’t want to be one minute late or you will miss it!

It really is a joy and honor to lead and pastor Meadow Spring Church. I am humbled more and more as time goes by knowing how imperfect I am but in spite of that God gives me the privilege (and responsibility) of leading such an amazing church.

See you Sunday.

Oh…and don’t forget – we have canceled our Saturday service. If you have been coming on Saturday, I encourage you to now come on Sunday mornings. It’s awesome!
