God has used Meadow Spring to bring 51 people into a personal relationship with him so far this year! Wow oh wow!!!
Kick-off to the new series "Can't Lose!" went really well.
Next week - "Teamwork". I will talk about how God has uniquely gifted each of us to be part of a team to accomplish the "win"
In two weeks = "Sacked!" where I will talk about why bad things happen to good people.
Then we'll wrap up the series with "The Greatest Player of All Time" where I will make a comparison of four famous spiritual leaders.
THEN...THEN...THEN - We will be embarking on a series called "Who Needs God?". This will especially appeal to the person who questions the existence and purpose of God, credibility and authority of the Bible, and the need for God. We all have friends who question God's existence and purpose. Start now praying for who you will invite to come with you.
We have a full house at home with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and his dog here for a few days. "Chaos" has been the theme of this day!
Had a very successful day of training for our Leadership Team. Talked about our current culture and who our audience is and how to better reach them. It was a good day.
Vikings lost. Bradford was out. Wonder if that was what made the difference.
Was it hot in the auditorium today or was it just me? I was sweatin' like a pig on a skewer in a smoker!
I am so thankful and honored to serve on staff with John Pennucci, Pat Laeger, Teresa Kallio, and Emily Bemis. Meadow is extremely blessed.
Teresa Kallio and Emily Bemis are volunteer staff but they put their heart and focus on Meadow as if they were paid and full-time. Thanks Teresa and Emily!
I'm working on the systems at Meadow that move us forward. This means change is in the wind with some behind the scenes organizational and functional elements.
I'm reading/studying Romans in my quiet times. Usually in the early mornings before anyone else gets up. It's quiet and still and I can get real focused.
Still thinking through doing a Facebook live video walking through what I'm learning in my quiet times. The idea of including others to do the same came up yesterday which would be cool.
Another idea that came up in our training time was having more people share their stories of faith on Sundays.
Offering was good today. Still down overall, but today was good.
I've got a meeting this week with the city of Chaska and the engineering company who is redesigning the Hwy 61/41 intersection. There might be some changes on the horizon for our parking lot.
Well...Packer's game is on. Time to go watch them lose.
