• What a fantastic day! Wow! Seven people baptized!
  • I am so loving this series! Talked to one attender this morning who said she has been showing the videos to her co-workers and they want to know "where is this church?" Ha!
  • John Pennucci and I have already talked about doing a "The Tour" series again next summer with different songs.
  • Next Sunday is "Don't Stop Believin'" and my gut says it will be the best of the whole series!
  • Loved meeting new families today!
  • If someone were to ask me how Meadow is doing, I would say things are going awesome except financially. Financially, we are experiencing a serious downturn.
  • Our average weekly budget need is $4,200.00. The last 10 weeks that average has been $3,488. That is concerning and, unfortunately, we are making some cuts in ministry and saying "no" to some things we would love to say "yes" to.
  • It bothers me that we have to cut ministry. That means we will be hindered in our drive to advance the kingdom of God in our community and world.
  • I am putting together a "Pastor's Prayer Team". This would be a team of people I can depend on to pray for me every day and especially on Sundays. I would also share more specifics of what's on my mind, message writing development, etc. If you would like to be part of this team, let me know.
  • All-worship Sunday is coming up on September 10. These kind of Sundays are so timely. They really help me get re-focused on the main thing of my relationship with Jesus.
  • Starting a new series called "Can't Lose" on September 17. The packaging theme will be football, but the spiritual challenge will be pointed and significant. As a follower of Christ - you can't lose!
  • I decided against a regular weekly Facebook Live video interactive teaching. I will probably do it here and there to take a specific series to the next level. But there won't be a regular weekly video.
  • As I write this, I'm watching the Vikes play - or maybe I should say they are trying to play a game. Sheesh!
  • Still can't get over the awesome lake baptism today. Seven people! Wow!
  • An annual lake baptism just might become a part of our yearly calendar.
  • Later.
