I totally LOVE Sundays at Meadow but some Sundays just don't seem to click like others. Today was one of those Sundays.
Maybe it was the way we crafted the service? Not sure. Just felt like I was only using 7 cylinders of an 8 cylinder engine.
I did love Jon & Sarah's story. They did an amazing job sharing!
I did miss being at the front doors greeting everyone as they come in. That is a real highlight of my day at Meadow.
Keep your eyes on Facebook this week. We are going all-out in inviting people to Meadow for Easter.
Who are you inviting and bringing?
And don't forget Good Friday @ 7 PM. This will be a Good Friday which will sear into your heart and brain the gravity of the crucifixion.
I keep thinking of what the disciples must have been feeling when Jesus rode into Jerusalem and during the week. They must have been on an emotional roller coaster going from ultimate high to ultimate low.
Leadership Team meets this Thursday. Pray for us as we continue our plans for pursuing Vision '17.
Staff is working on an event for engaged and married couples called "Love...Laughter...Marriage". Hope to have all the details put together by this next Sunday to start telling you about it.
Did I mention we are having 3 services this Easter? 9:00, 10:00, & 11:00. My prayer is that we will fill the auditorium all three times! Which service are you coming to with your friends?
Just posted a video on Facebook inviting people to Easter at Meadow and within just a few minutes it's already had 10 views!
Here's a question I need your input on. I'm working on a series addressing our deep longing and desire to "find" relief or improvement in various areas and issues of life. Here are some of the issues I'm thinking of ... how would you prioritize these issues ... a better marriage, relief from money debt, a deeper relationship with God, relief from grief, a life purpose, help with depression, closer friendships, better work attitude, God's will. What are your thoughts? What do you think people are most "thirsty" for?
