Today has been a day where I have been vividly reminded of the value of our Meadow volunteers. I am so proud to call Meadow my church home where we have volunteers who go far beyond the call of duty and out-serve themselves week after week after week. What exactly did volunteers do today?

  • It was a volunteer that made your coffee.
  • It was a volunteer that cleaned the church so it was ready for you.
  • It was a volunteer that picked up and laid out all the bagels and pastries.
  • It was a volunteer that shook your hand and welcomed you as you came in the door.
  • It was a volunteer who stood at the Welcome Center to take sign-ups for the marriage event.
  • It was a volunteer who signed your kids into Meadow Kids.
  • It was a volunteer who taught and or watched your kids in Meadow Kids.
  • It was a volunteer who picked up the "Overflow Parking" signs and brought them in.
  • It was a volunteer who handed you a program.
  • It was a volunteer who counted the offering, made the deposit, & recorded it into our data base.
  • It was a volunteer who played guitar.
  • It was a volunteer who sang and led us in worship.
  • It was a volunteer who assisted the lead singer.
  • It was a volunteer who operated the sound board.
  • It was a volunteer who operated the video camera so you can watch today's service online.
  • It was a volunteer (actually two volunteers) who entertained the kids while parents were attending Pizza with the Pastors
  • It was a volunteer who picked up the pizza for Pizza with the Pastors
  • It was a volunteer who cleaned up the lobby area after we all enjoyed bagels and pastries.
  • It was a volunteer who ordered and brought new HVAC filers for the roof-top units.

Meadow wouldn't be Meadow without our volunteers. I am so proud of each and every one. You know who you are. Thank you.
