You see, we know coming to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking - especially if its been centuries since the last time you stepped foot into a church! Visions of the last church you walked into flash through your mind ... people all dressed up, quiet and still, organ music playing, pews, everyone looking at you, trying to keep your kids behaving, unfamiliar faces, and just the general feeling of being a square peg in a round hole.
I'm reading and studying Acts in my quiet times and I'm sensing some incredible challenges from the heart of God. Challenges that will most likely flesh themselves out in a teaching series later this year. Challenges that all start with "What if...?" Basically, "What if what happened in Acts, happened at Meadow?"
Hebrews 4:12 tells us the Bible is sharper than a two-edged sword. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us the Bible is "God-breathed". Revelation 1:16 tells us that a sharp double-edged sword comes out of the mouth of Jesus.
Hey Christian...if you had to characterize your relationship with Jesus, would you say it is more mechanical than refreshing? More "going-through-the-motions" than personal? More part of your schedule than part of your life? More "yawn" than life? You're not alone.

Totally AWESOME morning! Wow doesn't even begin to describe it! 2 people received Jesus! THAT is the main reason we exist! The band absolutely KILLED music and worship and then NAILED "Stairway to Heaven".
Check out this video where I give an update on Vision '17 ... the good and the not-so-good of all that is and isn't happening. Bottom line is that God is moving a Meadow but we aren't there yet! The best days are still ahead!
